Jeep Teases 200-Plus Accessories Available For 2018 Wrangler
Factory items range from floormats to suspension lift kits.
Khodrocar - The 2018 Jeep Wrangler hasn’t even been officially revealed yet, but Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is wasting no time in promoting a plethora of accessories that will be available for purchase through authorized dealerships. In an announcement at the 2017 SEMA show, the automaker says more than 200 accessories and performance parts will be available, ranging from purely aesthetic add-ons like spare tire covers, fuel door covers, and floor mats, to functional components such as lights and beadlock-capable wheels. For those seeking more off-road performance from their Jeep, suspension lifts and winches will also be available. For the first time, Jeep will also offer roof racks for the Wrangler.
"An iconic vehicle such as Jeep Wrangler deserves nothing but the best, which is why the Mopar and Jeep brands have developed a new set of product solutions to meet the unique lifestyles of Wrangler owners,” said Pietro Gorlier, FCA’s head of parts and service for Mopar. "From Jeep Performance Parts like winches and wheels to accessories such as bikini tops and tailgate tables, Mopar has incorporated input from Wrangler owners in bringing to the marketplace the most powerful, reliable and authentic lineup of accessories and performance parts available.”
There’s certainly a terrific market for Wrangler accessories. It’s difficult to think of another model that’s subject to more owner customization and modification that Wranglers, whether it’s a simple set of lights to a bonkers suspension setup for rock crawling. To that end, Jeep says 98 percent of Wranglers are outfitted with at least one Mopar specific product. With over 200 new accessories on tap for the forthcoming Wrangler, it’s a safe bet there will be something for pretty much every new owner.
The 2018 Wrangler has been teased and spied like crazy for months now, with the most recent tidbit of interest being the order guide which was leaked just a week ago. The official 2018 Jeep reveal is just around the corner, slated to take place in November though a specific date is still unknown. It could happen at the Los Angeles Auto Show or some time before, but whenever it launches, Jeep is certainly ready to upsell customers with accessories.
